Effects

When used during an  Enemy Defeat Response:

• Routing Cry deals significantly more damage than it usually does. The icon flashes to indicate the enhanced potency.
•  Penetrating Cry Attack Speed Buff is applied on fellowship members within 50m when traited (See below).
• Routing Cry stuns affected enemies for a short duration when traited (See below).
• Routing Cry removes the Enemy Defeat Response effect.

When traited, this skill has a chance to apply  Situational Awareness Evade Rating to the Captain.

This skill generates additional threat when specialized in the Leader of Men trait tree.

Trait Interactions

• The trait  Penetrating Cry in the Lead the Charge makes this skill apply Penetrating Cry Attack Speed Buff to the fellowship when used during an Enemy Defeat Response. Further ranks increase the potency of the effect by up to 10%.
  
• The trait  Terrifying Bellow in the Leader of Men trait tree makes this skill stun enemies for up to 5 seconds when used during an Enemy Defeat Response.
• The trait  React To Battle in the Lead the Charge trait tree increases the damage of this skill by up to 10% and the critical chance by up to 5%.
  
• The trait  Situational Awareness in the Leader of Men trait tree makes this skill have up to a 50% chance to apply Situational Awareness Evade Rating to the Captain.
  
• The trait  Deafening Shouts in the Lead the Charge trait tree increases the damage of this skill by up to 6%.
  
• Specializing in the Lead the Charge trait tree makes this skill apply Lead the Charge to the target upon a critical hit.
  
• The trait  Reversal in the Hands of Healing trait tree makes this skill apply Reversal Melee Damage to the Captain upon a critical hit.
  

Tracery Interactions

• Routing Cry Damage increases the damage of this skill by up to 55%.
  

Armour Set Interactions

Equipping 4 pieces of the Umbari Armour of the Commander armour set acquired from the Depths of Mâkhda Khorbo Raid makes this skill consume Devastating Rout (applied by  Devastating Blow) to deal bonus damage.
Equipping 6 pieces of the Umbari Armour of Valour armour set replaces this skill with  Bolstering Cry.

Tactical Information

Routing Cry is primarily used to refresh  Penetrating Cry Attack Speed Buff on the fellowship when traited. The skill doesn't do enough damage to be worth using too much outside of refreshing the effect.
